I am never a huge fan of paintings I do of flowers. I don't know why I am just never fully satisfied. These lillies were in my kitchen for the last week though and every time a new one opened I just felt it was sacriledge not to try to paint them since they were so gorgeous. And I am ready for spring...I have been sooooo sick since Monday and it was refreshing to paint something springy today....I did like how the pattern in the fabric mimicked the curve of the shadows....
