Oh ny goodness I LOVE lilacs. I get such a rush the first time I can bury my head in a lilac bush and just sniff them... Yummy!

When I was a girl we had a house on about an acre, and two whole sides of the property had been planted with lilacs by the original owner way back when...There was every kind, every color

Over time I have lived in different houses...None ever had the amount lilacs that childhood house did...But there was always a token bush somewhere....

This year we moved, and we live in an apartment with no yard, and not even dirt for me to garden . I missed lilacs so much this spring and saw all the big fluffy, smelly trees in everyone else yards!...So one night my husband brought the garbage out and snuck this little lilac sprig in for me...He picked it a little short and the only thing it would fit in was this little antique glass bottle on my kitchen window sill...

Needless to say the view is my neighbours yard...I am very envious....He even has a vegetable garden...:-(

Well we are off to the beach! It is finally summer!!!!!
