I haven't abandoned my blogging or painting! I am here! I have come close to wanting to abandon my painting. Several weeks ago someone at my workplace gave me a speech about where she thought my artwork stood in the professional world. I was very upset, but thought that I was able to get past it. However EVERY time I have sat down since then I haven't been able to produce anything at all. I feel terrible.
Anyway I quit the job last week, which was seriously negative in many aspects, and I am hoping that I will be able to get to more painting and gain more confidence. I am currently working at a wonderful little gourmet food store in Ipswich. Such a great, happy place to be after such a terrible time at my old job. So while I am not making as much I am happier! Yay!
So my goal is to complete a painting I LIKE this week and then share it with any bloggers may still be tuning in! :-)

Dont give up ever!!!! This is a big world and there are a multitude uncoutable of personal preferences, not all the same. Keep doing what you love! Maybe I will see you sometime, your town is not that far from mine! I like to visit the historical homes in Ipswich!
I am so glad you are writting again...I missed being able to check in and keep up with my favorite up and coming artist! Now that you are out of that dark (and it literally was DARK) environment, good things will once again be able to find their way to you. You are so deserving and I truly believe that you are destined to a life of art and beauty!
Katie... don't let her words poison you. Just paint. Just do it. You are talented and joyful in your art. You make the world a better place. Enjoy your new job, be in the moment, be happy...
