6 x 6 Oil on Canvas board
The problem with these funky backgrounds is that they don't photograph true to color. I try with the camera, then I try to alter it in photoshop to get the true color, and I just can't. The camera seems to pick up some colors more than others, making some of them seem very predominant.
I think I prefer the shiny fruits on this background, although I don't think the cupcake is terrible. I do have to say that I hate hate hate hate (got that?) painting white frosting and I don't know why I insist on doing it! Ugh.
Life seems to have picked up speed this last week or two. Where did 2010 go? I feel like I blinked and missed it. I have a good feeling about 2011!
