Whew, what a Christmas vacation! After an exhausting, and often not very relaxing, holiday I am very glad to be back on here. Can't wait to get back to painting now that the tree is out and my studio is my studio again!
However, now I have a roomate in my my studio! My daughter got a full size drafting table to draw, paint, and do her legos on! It resides in my studio area, and she is very quick to remind me that it is now "our" studio not "my" studio! Having her own art area makes my life a lot easier (I no longer have to set her up on the dining table), and her art work more spontaneous. One of her first projects was to paint this tank top, which I wanted to share with you.
Last year I used to post quotes from a card deck I have of creatively inspiring quotes. Not sure if I shared this one already, but it seemed like a good one to share for the New Year.
"Grow Creative by opening to serendipity. Allow for fortunate accidents. Maintain your grip, but not with an iron hand."
Happy New Year everyone!
