Here is the commission that I just completed this morning. And it was accepted! Yay!
And on top of it, I am happy with it! My husband was hoping the person I did it for wouldn't like it, so we could keep it! Which was flattering cause we certainly don't have a shortage of paintings in the house and when he wants to keep one, I know he likes it!
Went over to Newburyport today for the small works show. I still feel strange seeing my work next to other artists. It is so different, and i am not sure that is a good thing! And of course, I got the spot way up by the ceiling! That seems to happen to me a lot!

Congratulations, this is a really nice piece! And listen, unless you can tell me your work was hun on the swinging kitchen door (mine was once!), or on the floor ("sorry, we didn't have enough room!") I'm not going to feel sorry for you! ;0
