So I have not forsaken my blogging duties. I am still working on that commission which (I think) is coming out really well.....I hope to be done with it by Monday and then can post a picture! I also just realized that my one year anniversary of blogging is coming up on the 17th (or close to it:-) and while I certainly haven;t come near posting as many paintings as many other more dedicated bloggers, I have definitely noticed a huge change when I go back and look at my work from one year ago. And while I have slumps (like a couple of weeks ago) I am overall very happy with the direction my work has taken..I feel like I will need to post something "special" for one year mark. Hmmm I will have to start thinking!
Also I have two pieces in the Small Works Show at the Newburyport Art Association. The opening is Sunday the 8th (this Sunday) from 3-5 pm. And it runs through February 25.
