Big Sky Over Crane Beach

24 x 28 Oil on Canvas
This was inspired by my 3 mile walk down Crane Beach on Sunday....Gorgeous sunny hot weather and I just walked and walked and walked until I was all alone and at the very very tip of the beach. Wow, what a feeling. I lay there and fell asleep...When I awoke to the sound of the waves and the sky above me I thought, "at moments like this it is so hard to imagine that right now there is a war going on somewhere." It was just so peaceful and quiet.....I wish it was that way for everyone. It actually made me feel a little guilty to think how lucky I am that my cards fell this way......I took lots of pictures and knew one of them had to translate into a painting. This one is HUGE compared to what I usually do. A lot of fun!
