The Cafe on the Corner-Part Duex

20 x 20 Oil on Canvas-SOLD
Here is a remake of one I did a few months ago. I did the first one tiny, 4 x4 ....It was interesting to do it so much larger. I think it came out well. It was for a commission, so hopefully they like it too! THat's what's important.
I have had a rough couple of weeks, and emotionally my "zest" for painting has flown the coup, so to speak....I have wanted to paint, and I have ideas, but I just haven't been able to pull myself away from other things. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I can get back to it, and paint something decent! Anything I paint when I am feeling blue just comes out terrible!

I really love the colors in this one. Know exactly what you mean - productivity is low in this corner of the east coast too. Here's hoping we all get back into the groove soon.

Don't sweat it, Katie, Ying and Yang, ebb and flow.. when things are a little smoother you'll dive right back in to painting! You should come meet Paula and I in South Boston to paint... wouldn't that be fun?
