I was tagged by artist/blogger Kelley MacDonald! Kelley left the nicest compliment when she tagged me, and I have to say that she has been a huge supporter in the last year! Always there with a comment when things are good, and even more importantly always there when I need a boost! This tag asks me to list five favorite blogs, tell five things about myself and list the rules:

Me? Ok 5 things
1. I honestly can't even navigate the tv controller, but I WILL watch with an admitted addiction Lost, American Idol, and any old movies Cary Grant, James Stewart, Clark Gable, and the like!
2. I still look in the mirror and see an insecure kid. Then I realize I have children of my own and wonder, how did I do that!? But thank god I did!
3. I love bare feet, and "lose" my socks as soon as it gets warm enough....Almost there!
4.I inevitably have a regularly scheduled painter's block when I feel like everything I do is garbage....Then I bounce back. I am in the middle of one now!
5. I love the smell of my daughters' hair when they come in from the sun and their skin after the beach...And I hope it is one of those scents my mind retains when they are all grown up.....

I love your '5 things!' - and can relate to the 'block' (do I know how to paint?), and the smell of the kids' hair... You never forget that - or the baby-head smell...

Hey, thanks for the tag and for the nice comments! I've turned into a kind of fuddy duddy about tagging lately but I'll see if I can come up with some stuff...
I'm thinking of going to your opening. If my daughter's available, she always likes my art adventures and I think she would join me! I just need to get closer to the date to see what happens. Good luck!
