Rocky Necky, Gloucester, MA

6 x 12 Oil on Canvas -$50 ON HOLD
I was out of larger canvases and had to do this 6 x 12 which was really hard with all the detail because I really didn't have any teeny tiny brushes. But it was a really fun topic and I think I may try it larger sometime so I can cut loose a little! Claire and I got "lost" in Gloucester last weekend. On purpose. We were looking for an adventure, and a treasure for Claire. We started off antiquing (that's where Claire's treasures always come from) and then ended up justs driving around finding all these beaches and pretty areas we didn't know about....This little restaraunt is in the Rocky Neck Art Colony. We were disappointed it was closed. We plan on making another trip back. Claire loved Rocky Neck, cause all the houses were these cool colors. Even pink. Which to a 9 year old girls is just perfect! I don't think I will put this in a show in the future. Maybe in a show in July. So if anyone is interested please let me know!

This is so cool...I wonder if the deck fills up with diners in the summer?

Love it. I haven't been up there in years due to fear of rush hour. What I need to do though, is pan to stay for dinner up there and drive home after rush hour.
