So this is a version of the Crane Beach painting I did a few weeks ago. I loved the angle and decided to photograph it on another day. It's fun doing it a few weeks later, because the clouds were different, the grass was greener, and even the water was a slightly different color. It 's what I love about the ocean. The subtleties that change every time you go!
We are heading to Maine in a couple of weeks for the weekend. We just can't wait. It's only a weekend trip, but the kids talk about it for weeks before we go. Every year we have to have exactly the same itinerary or it throws them off. It is so sweet how important the tradition and family time means to them! And we love that Maine means as much to them as it does to us. It's definitely a place that we will never be able to shake! So many importants things have happened there.....
So I look forward to snapping a bunch of new Maine pics to work from. Love that spring is finally here!

What a nice mini vacation for your family...I love how you captured the footprints in the sand. There is such a velvety feeling to the paint. Very nice.
