What's your colors???

So no new paintings to post, but I do have a few ready to start. In the meantime my daughter and I worked on this really fun onesie (above) for the baby....We used a paint technique that my friend Su McPhail showed me. Although, she puts the technique to better use as a background for actual paintings and collages, etc. This is my version!
We used recycled cans (below), covered them with carpet tape, took yarn and made patterns on the tape. Then we painted them with acrylic to seal them. Then we could roll them in whatever color we wanted and layer the patterns and colors. It was fun and I am looking forward to experimenting more with it.

While going through my paints yesterday I became curious what colors other artists use. Some have every color imagineable. Some only use a few. I have a friend who mixes every color she uses from 5 basic colors. Wow! Some don't use black (I don't) and instead mix it from the colors they have. Some do use black from a tube. And some just have one color they couldn't live without. So what colors do you use? What color do you think I HAVE to have!?

Here are my colors. I don't use all of them all the time, but this is pretty standard for what is in my bin.
