The Cafe on the Corner, Ipswich, Ma

5 x5 Oil on canvas

This place has THE best breakfast...I swear you get enough food to last you through the day..FUnny thing is I really don't care for their lunch....I am a sucker for their chocolate chip pancakes or sausage gravy and biscuits...And wonderful coffee. Summer time there is always a wait though, so we discovered a sweet little place down the street run by a wonderful greek family. The food is good, not quite as good, but the girls are the sweetest things ever, and so is the owner. Claire fell in love with the staff when they gave her doll her own chair!
Breakfast out is always such a treat! Isn't it? I can never make up my mind...Sweet or savory so I end up getting the lumberjack special or some such manly named meal and then need to be rolled to the car!
I really need to figure out how to take decent pictures of my work. This one still isn't quite right but close...

I'd drive all the way to Ispwich for a good breakfast - and I agree, the Lumberjack special is the way to go! (Sweet? Savory? YES!) I like this painting, and I wouldn't worry too too much about it looking better in person. I think even Carol Marine's look better in person!

I love the new style you are painting in!
