Cafe in Ipswich

10 x 10 Oil on Canvas

Again, the pic is terrible. I don't know why suddenly I haven't been able to get any decent images. This is our little Cafe downtown. The best cakes and pasteries. I used to take Claire after school on Thursday before we picked up Cecelia from pre-school. It was such a treat for her. I took both of them recently and Cecelia stood in front of the case trying to decided for about 15 minutes. She was so overwhelmed!
This is the first of a series of 6 for a show I am doing with a friend in July. I have 5 more to go before July 20. Whew, hope I can make it. It's called "Ipswich at Twilight". We are both painting the same places in Ipswich, all at night. It will be fun to see the comparison!

Gosh, I can't believe how long I've been away from your blog - and good for you, you've been so busy painting! Your work reflects the joy in your heart - and the beauty in your soul. Keep going, Katie :)

Nice warm twilight glow coming from the door. This has such a nice feeling to it.

the way you have gotten the sign so well, is impressive. Bravo on these nocturnes.
