So I didn't get to a couple of paintings that I wanted to start this weekend, but I did make my daughter this dress using one of my numerous chenille bedspreads. So I figured I would post my creative endeavour for the last couple of days! Today I have to make my older daughter one too...Maybe I will post that final product as well.
It's funny. I made Cecelia one with Chenille for Easter when she was 18 months old. SHe now wears it as a shirt. It's one of her absolute favorites. She was wearing it on Saturday, and I realized although it looks adorable maybe it was time to make a new one! So we hit the fabric store and spent a rainy afternoon sewing.....
I wish it would rain today. I want to paint and sew, but always feel guilty keeping the kids cooped up on beautiful summer days.

PRECIOUS!
My mama was a sewer and a knitter. Made all our clothes when until she had too many. You are a creative talent. You go!
I read your comment on Jennifer's blog about keeping them at this age. They are so, SO innocent and sweet at these ages. My two little nephews are just 3 and coming up on 5.
It's blowing by. I love them to pieces!
Too many kids ;) not too many clothes.. heehee
